Barbara Stevenson, Q.C.
Barb is a partner in the firm. She is a Charlottetown native who has been practicing law since 1980. She received her B.B.A in 1976 from the University of Prince Edward Island and her LL.B. in 1979 from the University of New Brunswick.
Barb is a past Director of the Bank of Canada and was Chairperson of its Human Resources Committee. She is a past lecturer at the University of Prince Edward Island, teaching courses in Business Administration and Business Law.
Barb is the Past President of the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation. She is a huge basketball fan and serves as co-chair of the UPEI Back Court Club. She likes to walk four or five miles a day. She is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and serves on the Colonel Gray Senior High Foundation.
Barb resides in Charlottetown with her husband Grant Canvin and their two children.
