John A. Carr, Q.C.
John is the senior partner in the firm. He is a native Prince Edward Islander practicing in Charlottetown for more than 30 years. John is a Kings College and Dalhousie Law School graduate.
John's practice is varied and includes Corporate / Commercial, Estates, Civil Litigation and Real Estate.
John is married to Connie MacKay-Carr, a French Immersion Teacher and has two children, Sarah and Alex. Sarah is in Fredericton, New Brunswick at college, while Alex is at the University of Victoria studying Linguistics and Asian Studies.
John has been active in the Canadian Bar Association and the Prince Edward Island Law Society. He was the co-chair of the Heart and Stroke Residential Fundraising Campaign, a Director of the Diabetes Association and past President of the Hillsborough Rotary Club. He is currently active in a number of Law Society and Rotary Club committees. He is a director of the Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners.
John enjoys sailing, especially when he's at the helm. He'll be navigating the Eastern Seaboard with his wife in their Beneteau sailboat. Like his partners, he also tolerates a round of golf when he has the opportunity.
